Transfer Board – Plastic

Description

The Plastic Board is NOT designed for lifting but is designed to be used for seated patient transfers across similar height surfaces and gaps no wider than the inside of the anti-slip pads. The boards have a single hand hold to assist with both positioning and transport. They provide low friction movement and offer independence in individual use.

When moving and handling any person, they as a load, can become unpredictable. Ensure the client has suitable sitting balance and upper/lower limb functioning to carry out this activity and can follow and understand commands and instructions.
